Objectives
To develop and offer telematics services contributing value in the form of improvement in processes, coordination, innovation and improved competitiveness to the final product, which is the sum of the services offered by the Port of Bilbao.
e-puertobilbao is a project headed by APB, whose development guidelines are marked by the Port Community companies, and is centred on the following objectives:
Consolidate the process of expansion of the Port of Bilbao, by establishing telematics services to improve its competitive position.
Lead a consensus with the port agents that permits the e-puertobilbao platform to be the reference platform in the Bilbao maritime-port community.
Promote technological and cultural change which supposes the incorporation of information technologies to port logistics.
Optimize the activity chain processes in port logistics and provide back up for the same through telematics services supported on information technology.
