In the presence of a large representation of logistics-port companies of Bilbao, the Bilbao Port Authority presented a new solution for customers and users of the e-puertobilbao electronic commerce platform.
Further information >As part of its clear commitment to short sea shipping, the Port Authority of Bilbao took part in the closing conference in Paris, of the first phase of the “ShortSea XML” project for the development of standardised open messages for all those taking part in the door-to-door cycle of Short Sea Shipping.

The Port Authority will bring into operation an innovative access control system – a result of the International Ship and Port Facility Code (ISPS) – whose objectives are to increase safety levels within the port area as well as controlling and registering entrance and exit movements of both vehicles and people.
