Services
Since the time of its conception, the strategic focus of “e-puertobilbao” has been based on offering services with a clear added value for it community of users, with a clear correlation with the processes making up the port logistics activity chain. In this sense, the identification of the services as a whole, as well as the design of the same has, at all times, worked towards alignment with the operative problems brought about by the “day-to-day” reality of the different agents employed in the Port of Bilbao.
The aim is to offer useful homogeneous services immediately applicable for users, which besides making their work easier, favour information flow, help to overcome resistance to new communication channels and invite technological change.
The following services are at present in operation and available for users:
Service for Coordination of container positioning at Border Inspection Post (BIP)
Service for road transport goods entry to the Port of Bilbao; pre- entry notification management.
