Essential requirement
You are hereby informed that as from Saturday May 7 the new version of entry pre-notifications for road transport company containers available via the e-puertobilbao platform rejects any pre-notifications that cannot be associated with a Delivery or Acceptance, either because they have not been sent by the Ship-broker accountable to the Terminal, or else because the reference does not coincide.
This is designed to take another step to ensure that the information associated with Port entry or the containerised goods terminal is of higher quality and that it is available before the arrival of the container and the means of transport to the Port or terminal. So the responsibility of the Shipping Agents to send the Acceptance or Delivery to the Terminals via the e-puertobilbao platform is essential and exerts a direct influence on the processing that is going to be given to the operation of the entry of the means of transport.
The aim to be achieved is to speed up entry by improving the management and quality of the information so that in the mid-term the providing of this information is an essential requirement for delivering or authorising the entry of a container into the port/terminal. The same applies to the means of transport associated with it.
