Electronic Transport Document – ETD – DD3
The Electronic Transport Document – ETD is a document that lists all the goods loaded on a ship or aircraft.
Next 4th of February, Customs desires to begin implementing the new simplified transit procedure, which entails, as applicable, the inclusion of new data in manifests and summary declarations, modifying the guide to the IFCSUM message.
The changes are:
- Inclusion of the ETD (Electronic Transport Document) in the SDTS when this ends its run in simplified transit, and in the Cargo Manifests in which simplified transit is initiated.
Change tracking with regard to v3.3 – epb v4.1:
- In the GOR segment (group 2 index 5), the definitions of Simplified Transit associated to codes ZS1 and ZS2 change, which are now, moreover, different in the cases of Unloading and Loading IFCSUM.
- The NAD segment (group 9, index 9) now has a fourth function with the TA heading, for inclusion of the shipping company EORI as holder of the simplified transit consignment. This function will be mandatory when the SDTS ends the run in simplified transit.
- In the DOC segment (group 40, index 23), a new heading is added for the 1001 data component so as to be able to declare the document DD3: Simplified Transit (Electronic Transport Document ETC, UCC message D3).
We do not know the exact date of Customs implementation. In any event, bearing in mind that time will be needed to adapt messages, you will always be able to use the website interface at epuertobilbao to report shipping company EORI, the DD3 document, etc.
